Yesterday I finally knuckled down to making some more of my birds. I had already machine knitted and steamed the fabric ready for sewing and I had already made the decorated wings. Yesterday I sewed the fabric, stuffed birds and sewed up the opening, added the button eyes,wings, beaks and tails and finally got to thread all birds plus decorative beads together.
This morning I just had the second 'set' to string together.
sounds fairly complicated, but well worth the effort, they are beautiful
